The Virginia Peninsula Mayors and Chairs Commission on Homelessness has developed a Regional Plan to End Homelessness. The goal of the plan is to build and strengthen our communities so that in ten years all individuals and families facing homelessness on the Virginia Peninsula will have access to safe, decent, and affordable housing as well as the resources and support necessary to sustain that housing. The ten-year plan was adopted on July 30, 2009, and registered with the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness.
